Welcome to the June edition of the IUPHAR-Ed newsletter! Excitement is building as we count down to the WCP2026 Education Satellite Meeting in Melbourne this July.
We are looking forward to welcoming colleagues from around the world for what promises to be an inspiring and highly engaging program. Our local organising committee has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring everything together, and we are confident the meeting will provide a wonderful opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen connections across our global
community.
For those travelling to Australia, this edition also includes a taste of what awaits in Melbourne, from places to explore to some authentic local culinary experiences not to be missed during your visit. We are also delighted to welcome our new IUPHAR-Ed Councillors, following an impressive 41 applications from 17 countries. This remarkable response reflects the strength and enthusiasm of our international community.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our outgoing Executive Team members for their outstanding service and commitment. Their leadership, vision, and energy have played a vital role in shaping IUPHAR-Ed into the vibrant global network it is today. I hope to see you all soon!
