IUPHAR-Ed Newsletter - December 2025

Welcome to the December edition of the IUPHAR Education Section newsletter.
It’s been a very productive year for the IUPHAR Education Section and, as I reflect on 2025, I would like to thank everyone for being part of this community and for all the contributions that have enabled us to grow. The enthusiasm for advancing pharmacology education continues to inspire us, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead in 2026.
We will soon be seeking expressions of interest for new Councillors, and we hope some of you will consider joining us.
In this edition, we provide updates on various IUPHAR-Ed initiatives, including the outcomes from the recent online workshops in which some of you may have participated. We also highlight IUPHAR-Ed Councillor Dr Anna-Marie Babey, recipient of the ASCEPT Elizabeth Davies Teaching Excellence Award, who will be presenting at WCP 2026.
Nominations are now open for the IUPHAR-Ed Teaching Awards. You can find more information about eligibility criteria and how to apply on page 22.
