Every four years, in preparation for the General Assembly, each member society submits its current number of members to IUPHAR. This number determines the number of voting delegates for the IUPHAR Council. This number is also used as the basis for annual membership dues for the following four years. The Council delegates and membership numbers remain unchanged until preparation for the next General Assembly (January before the meeting date).
